I will be starting Pre-Pharmacy in the fall and I was wondering if it was a good idea to work as an assistant in a pharmacy or if it's even possible with my (lack of) experience. I have talked to Pharmacy majors about this and they said they have done something like it as soon as they were able to get a job but I don't fully remember the details of it and I don't know where to start. I do remember them saying that it requires a lot of training on the pharmacy's part and they would only do it if you are staying long-term. I will be commuting to school the first two years though, so that shouldn't be much of a problem. I just want to get my feet wet and see if this is the right career for me. Any advice would be appreciated.
