<p>I went to UF for my undergrad and now I'm at FIT for grad school. The internship opportunities in Melbourne are fantastic! Internship opportunities something everyone should consider when looking at universities. I never thought about it until now.</p>

<p>I'm doing internship at a major aerospace company. Even if they don't hire me, I have great experience on my resume, which is something I didn't get during my undergrad.</p>

<p>Just to name a few, in the Melbourne area we have Northrop, Rockwell Collins, Embraer, Harris, Lockheed, GE, Raytheon, and of course NASA in Cape Canaveral. There are tons of other companies and a lot of them recruit at the FIT job fair each semester. The job fair is how I got my internship.</p>

<p>How are the amount of internship opportunities for international students there? Especially for engineering programs…I just got accepted in FIT and would like to know more about it. </p>

<p>I’m American. I don’t know how it works for international students. Now that I think about the 2 other guys I know doing internships are American. The international people I know either don’t work or work on campus so maybe there are some restrictions.</p>
