I was looking at websites trying to find internships that would let me speak Spanish. Maybe an internship for a corporation, picking up the phone, and doing surverys in Spanish. Anything. Just returned from a year in Chile, and would like to find a way to use what I learned.

Does anyone know of a website that offers interships to High School students?

I tried this monstertrak website, however, it is only good for college students.

Help is appreciated!

maybe you could volunteer with a local charity that serves a Spanish-speaking population. Medical clinics, ESL programs, and immigration rights offices may have need of your language skills.

Thank you! I found a few friends today who know ESL workers. I am going to give them a call as soon at the 4th of July stuff clears up.

Call companies directly....many internships are never advertised

My D got an internship at a place that never even thougt of having interns...she just figured out who to contact, send in a letter and resume, and she got it for three weeks, 7 hours a day

So have that resume ready and be willing to do all kinds of work

Check with your City Hall as well, many offices need bilingual speakers in places that serve the public

As well, are you in a city with Spanish Newspapers, TV or Radio Stations? It never hurts to ask if they need someone to help out....
