<p>anyone know of any premed internships that do not require letters of rec? i seriously have no idea how to get a letter of rec when most of my professors dont know me</p>
<p>ucla medical center is probably your best bet. not really an internship, but it is volunteering (which is all you should really be doing as a freshman).</p>
<p>others include the UCLA Mobile Clinic (mainly for med students but premeds get to do a little bit), Stroke study, and CARE extenders (you may need a car for this). Most of these are for upperclassmen, but you can always apply and try. They are really tough to get into.</p>
<p>also, if you go through the volunteer center at UCLA medical center, I would highly recommend the ArC program (something like that). I regret not doing that instead of my current work.</p>
