So for statistics for a college they give the "Middle 50%" score range. I understand what that means, but how can I use that to determine whether my scores are good enough? What does it mean if I'm in the middle of that range, or at the higher end, or above the range given?

Thank you.

just assume you are at the middle bro..

for top 30 schools...not much.

For state schools, it pretty much means admission with good gpa. Other schools base admission on way more than numbers.

No I mean, let's say for example that a school gives a math 50% range being 630 - 710. I got 740 on math... so what does that mean for me? does that mean that (assuming my other stats are strong) i have a good shot competing against other applicants?
