Okay, here's the deal: I'M NOT HERE TO ANYONE THAT THEY'RE WRONG.

That's not my job. If you believe in a deity, it's your deity's job to tell you that you're wrong. If you don't, then it's the law's job. Not mine.

I respect everyone's opinions, no matter how pompous or stuck up they are, because they're just that, opinions.
(I'm not saying that you're pompous or stuck up, btw.)

I agree with your house manners, btw. That's basically how I was brought up.

I wasn't arguing with you, me.duh. I didn't even read your posts. I was just making a post about cultures and differing values. Judging from your past posts (now I'm actually reading them) we basically agree. Go Asians :D

I want to keep my culture alive. I also want to marry whoever I come to fall in love with. If that's going to clash, I'm probably just going to choose the easiest route out.

The problem you may encounter one day is that love makes everything more complicated. :p

Love may not be the only thing that makes a marriage, but it's going to the main reason I'm going to go against my parents, if I choose that road.

Don't worry, Chinese culture is not in danger of dying out. Just because you eat Indian food every now and then does not mean one day you'll wake up and your kids will be named John Smith and Jane Doe and neither one of them will be able to hold chopsticks.
