I'm an international student and I requested interviews with the colleges that I have applied to and had them over skype. I thought that the interviews went very well. Does it have a significant impact on the selection process? Have my chances of an admission increased?

PS- I’ve applied only to Liberal Arts Colleges. Most of them are in the mid-west. I’m throwing that out if it makes a difference.

You need to list the colleges. Colleges differ greatly in the interviews’ impact. Also say why you felt the interviews went well.

I answered all the questions properly and I got a really good feeling at the end of the interview. Thats basically why I felt that it went well
The Colleges where I interviewed are

College of Wooster
Knox College
Conn College
Oberlin College
Denison University
DePauw
Earlham

See if you can Google and find the “common data sets” for those colleges because that includes info about what the college’s admission factors, including whether interviews are factors.

If you need financial aid, getting that is far more difficult for internationals than is getting admitted.
