I plan to schedule interviews for St. Paul's and Andover in October. I plan to have one interview in the morning and the other in afternoon. Is it okay to have two interviews in one day? Also, if I call the admission officer next week, am I too late? cause I've heard that those schools that I'm applyng to are very selective and popular, so it is hard to schedule interviews on the days you wanted, is that true?( I plan to go on Friday)
Are parents interviewed? My parents don't speak English, but they'll go to interviews with me as well...... What can I do? :(
Can anyone that has an idea of what the interviews are like tell we what to do? I really need outstanding interviews to make my resume better.......
What do admission officers ask? What are some tips to have a great interview?
Any information would be helpful.
thanks in advance :)

Calling early is never a bad idea, we waited and I ended up having to miss a day of school for my interview. I'm not sure what they will do with your parents. Maybe they will have a faculty member speak with them if they share whatever language it is. The interview is sort of like a conversation. The interviewee starts off with something about you and that sort of takes you through the interview. Use this opportunity to express why you want to go to the school. Also ask good questions, this does not mean asking how the food is. Usually any nerves settle pretty quickly.

Best Advice: Don't fill yourself up on 3 cups of hot chocolate right before you go in.

Calling early is a good thing, like rhino said. Also, your parents will be interviewed- you have a better chance of a faculty member speaking your language if they offer the language as a course. What do you speak?
And, make sure you are calm. Don't fidget, try not to forget what you are saying, and don't talk the entire time. It's a conversation, let it go back and forth.

thanks for those information :)
My parents speak Chinese. I think I'll tell them that my parents don't speak English when I schedule interviews and see if they can have a chinese or mandarin teacher speak with them...

chinese is very common so it should work out fine
