D has her first college interview with F&M admissions in a few weeks. It is her first interview and she is very nervous. Do any current students have any feedback on their interview that might help? Unfortunately, the interview is scheduled before she attends her first class and visits with a professor so she won't be able to offer that feedback. Any suggestions or feedback would be appreciated. Thanks

S had an interview at F&M in April. Don’t worry about it. It’s just a “get to know you” type thing. Remember, you’re the buyer, they’re the seller. They just ask some questions about what the student did in high school, what they might be interested in studying, etc.

I had an interview at F&M the other day and it was extremely casual. I don’t know if it was just my interviewer or if it is their typical interview format, but my interviewer basically just went over the things on the information sheet I filled out and either asked me about them or explained how F&M could help me to achieve certain goals / continue on with certain activities. It was pretty much just a conversation, not an “on the spot” thing. My interview ran about an hour long, but my parents told me that other kids who started their interviews after I did ended before I did.
