Hey trojans!

I have my on-campus SC interview in two weeks and was wondering what attire would be good for the interview! Since it's on campus, I'm going to assume business casual would do...

Thank you in advance :)

If you have a suit, I would wear it. If not, at least a jacket, dress shirt and khakis. Maybe it depends which school you’re applying to. If it’s Marshall, I don’t think you can overdress. Good luck!

It may depend on the school. I recall Marshall stating in a brochure that business attire was suggested for an interview.

Prepare yourself. Read about the school. Know something about key professors in the major. Think what your goals are when you enroll. If SC is your “dream” university let the interviewer know this. Be ready with two or three questions about your intended major or the university. Follow up the interview with a formal thank you note.

Good luck.

I’m applying to CAS if that makes a huge difference.
A thank you note? How would I go about delivering that?

Thank you, both of you.

Professor John Smith or Professor Jane Smith will be introduced to you at the interview. Remember the name. This faculty member will be listed on the website. Address the note to the person involved. Mail it and you are done…

Brooks Brothers is probably the best place to get professional attire. You are going to need a suit for your job interviews too so pick up something nice :)

I also think it’s extremely helpful to have your parents prepare some questions and do a couple of “dry run” interviews with you so you can get comfortable answering questions on the spot.
