interview attire

hey all, i've got an interview tomorrow and usually I would wear a long sleeved shirt and dress pants for interviews but this time its slightly different. my interviewer is a recent grad (class of '01) and we're meeting at an open air coffee place and i was worrying that i would look overdressed, especially if he dresses casually. do you all think its ok if i wear jeans and a rolled up long sleeved shirt? or if i should dress more formally. i'm comfortable with either. Thanks

How about cords or khakis and a button down or polo shirt?

thats another issue. its only between jeans and dress pants for me. dont have anything else. what'd you guys think? jeans+shirt/polo or dress pants+shirt. its an open air coffee place and my interviewer is quite young (29)

how 'bout sweat pants and under armour?

I was in a similar situation, I met a class of '02 interviewer for coffee at a Second Cup, and I felt completely comfortable and neither under- or over-dressed in non-faded jeans and a casual collared long-sleeved shirt (not a polo, you know what I mean). That's what I would personnally suggest.

thanks for the advice. i wore jeans and a long-sleeved shirt which was a good thing cos the inteviewer came in a polo t and jeans. i guess it all depends on where and who is interviewing you.
