interview attire

OK I know there's tons of topics on this already, but I need a specific evaluation here. I have two questions really:

1) I have an interview at Yale early this summer. I was thinking about wearing a print shift dress, some sort of black canvas blazer, and black flats. Would this be all right? Too casual?

2) This summer I'm interviewing at places I've never been to before and I need to have an outfit that I can wear on tours and to interview in when it's really hot. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Too dressy. Don't need the blazer. I interviewed at a couple of LACs in a button-down shirt, khakis and leather shoes. No big deal. The basic rule is no t-shirts, no shorts, no sneakers, clean hair, don't smell, and no gaudy attire.
