Here is the situation: I applied RD to Harvard around....late November. I was contacted a maybe a couple weeks later from an alumni for an interview. So we had the interview and it went great! He was a pretty...seasoned guy, playing basketball for Harvard in like the 60s I want to say, and I play basketball for my high school, so there was a lot of hoops talk throughout the conversation and we had a great time! He literally dropped me back off at my grandmother's house in his Ferrari, no lie! SAT scores had not came out by then so he asked me to to call him back when I got them, I did so like a few weeks later and that was that, we had no more communications. Then (and this is where the plot thickens), he calls me Tuesday and says he wants to talk to me again at his office, he said it would not be over an hour, and we set up the time and date and it was over. Immediately excited, as I was very unsure about my Harvard prospects (as every applicant is), I immediately did a search on here and Google for anybody with some insight into what a second interview might mean. I am not exactly sure if this is a second "interview" so to speak, as he sounded very cordial and our meeting sounded very unofficial and "off the books" sounding, so If anybody has any idea what this might mean or any words of encouragement it would be greatly appreciated!

Are you a good basketball player? As in good enough to play for harvard?

The other thought I had was that maybe he has a summer job he thinks you might be interested in.
