Interview conflicts

So I'm in a little bit of a dilemma here. I got an interview for a school I applied to , but I happen to have a conflict on one of the days I'm scheduled for.

I will be able to be present for the interview portion of it, but will be missing the 'activities' portion. They do have an alternate weekend scheduled that I can make.

Would it be detrimental skipping the 'activities' portion, or would it be more detrimental attending the alternate interview weekend? Thanks so much for your help!

It wouldn't be detrimental to attend the alternate interview weekend -- after all, people have conflicts, and that's why there are multiple interview weekends scheduled.

If you're serious about the program, you should seriously consider attending the activities. For one thing, you should be interested in life as a student in the program, and for another, you may or may not be evaluated on the portion of the interview days that aren't explicitly interviews.
