Interview- Could this hurt my chances?

I scheduled a school tour and interview, but the admissions dean will not be in the day I’m scheduled. I was told that arrangements have been made for an alternative person to interview me, I’m thinking maybe an associate dean? Could this hurt my chances of being accepted? Does it really matter who you interview with?

I’m wondering if I should reschedule or just go with the alternative person? Who really determines who is accepted & rejected?

I don’t believe that it matters. We interviewed with very random people and it didn’t affect admissions.

No to both. No dean of admissions at any school has the time to interview every single applicant. That’s why they have associate/assistants deans.

Great, Thank you!
