October 20 is called the "Interview Scheduling Deadline" for EA. However, "If you are applying during Early Action, you must contact your interviewer by October 20th." I contacted my EC a week ago by email, heard back a few days later, and replied. So while I did contact him, I have not yet scheduled an interview. Will I be fine with the deadline? I guess this is what happens when I leave things to the last minute...

P.S. The information here is always so helpful, so since this is my first post, I just want to thank you all!

We have a similar question. My son contacted his EC, and are working to schedule a date that works for both of them. She has suggested Nov. 7th for the meeting…but we are wondering if that date will still qualify for the Early Action requirement.

sscn96 - I would email your interviewer again, then contact Admissions if you don’t hear from him in a day or two.

badgermom12 - You need to have contacted your interviewer by then. The interviewers have deadlines to write up their reports, and they’re definitely due before it’s too late. If your interviewer says Nov 7 works, I’d trust them. Remember, Admissions has thousands of applications to read, so they can wait on some applications missing pieces. An interviewer wanting to interview on Nov 7 is not going to be held against your son in any way.
