Interview Deadline?

My interviewer contacted me last Thursday and we set something up for this coming Thursday, March 1st. I was afraid that something was wrong with my app, since all of my friends had been contacted far before me, but after a brief talk with our school’s Harvard rep, my GC assured me that the EC office was just overwhelmed. I don’t know if it’s universal or just for my particular region, but if you haven’t yet been contacted, hang in there! It’s not necessarily over. And even if you don’t get one, it is in no way a bad reflection (unless they pre-screen, maybe) on your application.

Good luck all!

I was contacted this morning and am interviewing tomorrow, ahh!

I’ve read through the thread and it seems like interviews can still go on this late, regardless of application status - is that right? Or does such a late interview mean I’ve passed through subcommittee? Just curious. :)

is an interview normally offered after an EA applicant had an interview before EA and was deferred? or is just 1 interview for a deferee okay? (i only had 1 interview in november, was deferred, and got nothing after)

that ^

I have the same query…

One interview is the norm; a few people get offered a second one for various reasons.

second interview is a good sign: it means you still have a fighting chance.
