I decided to apply to Georgetown at the last minute, so I probably won't get an interview for awhile. Is there a deadline? Will this hurt my chances?

Oh man, I'm having the same problem. I just received my contact info yesterday. I'm really hoping that a late interview won't hurt my chances.

i just send it my app like a week ago, so not contact stuff yet.

I have a feeling the interviews aren't very organized...I had to call my local chair three times before I got my interviewer's name. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I spoke with the admissions office a week ago regarding the interviews bc I didn't send in Part I until near-deadline.. and they said that there is no deadline for the interviews, so they may end up to be around feb/march even!

My pre-app was received Dec. 1st, and on Dec. 31st I sent my interview chair a letter (Because that was the only contact info provided to me) and I STILL haven't heard back!!! what do i do?

wow. it seems like ALOT of people aren't hearing back from their interviewers at all. i guess you should just give it some time, im sure they have TONS of interviewees.

i don't know where, but i read in a thread that interviews are worth less than 5% of the entire admissions process. so don't worry too much. in fact, i'm hoping that my interviewer wont even contact me back. I know, that sounds terrible, but I feel too nervous to interview. i think that gtown will understsand if you explain what's happened.

No worries! I talked to the Chair in our area and he said they have until March to do interviews. Daughter send part 1 of application to GU in September and she is scheduled for her interview next week....
