Interview - Deadline

When is the deadline for an alum to contact you to set up an interview? Also, applicants from vancouver, BC been contacted yet? Just wondering cuz I havent.

Interview reports are due to Yale by February 15.

Wow, 2/15; my son hasn't heard anything yet.

Yah, neither have I. I'm getting worried.

me too =( .

me, neither. wheee

The 15th? THE FRICKING 15TH? Jesus Christ, I hope I get contacted soon. . .

You still have more than a month.. no?

theres still time. I havent been contacted. I don't think I want to go through the interview process. :( its very nerve-racking for me.

Don't worry, maddy_01, I found the interview to be the most enjoyable part of the whole application.

And I wouldn't worry about the deadline. Yale will get to you within a month.

Does anyone know if you get contacted for an interview through email or through phone? I got an email last week saying they received my application, and that I will be getting something in the mail when they have received all the materials they need. Do I need to get that paper confirmation before I get contacted for an interview?

You could be contacted either via email or phone, so check your email carefully. You do not need paper confirmation to be contacted for an interview.

I still havent heard anything - what should I do?

Call the admissions office, get the name of the Alumni Schools Committee director (the volunteer who assigns interviews) for you area. Give him/her a call and request an interview. Do not be frustrated or angry when you call. Be gracious if you cannot be accommodated.

thanks AdmissionsAddict
