Do you know when the deadline for alum interview is for Princeton???
For New York, anyone?
I haven't gotten contacted yet, application is said to be "complete"...
any words of wisdom??
if i contact the admissions office about not having an interview yet, what would they say and what would they do about it??

the deadline for submission of reports to admissions is usually around the first week of march, so that admissions can consider reports when it goes to committee. in some areas, however, alumni are just now being "assigned" to particular applicants. it's possible, depending on supply and demand of alumni interviewers in your area, that an in-person interview is just not possible - worst case, you do the thing by phone. you might get contacted any day now to set up an interview, but if the end of the month nears without contact, you can contact admissions and they will direct you to the appropriate local "alumni schools" person. hope this helps.

thank you so much f.scottie... are you a princeton alum or admissions related person? your reply was so professional! =D
so... i guess i will wait until like.. the 21st (middle of next week), and call for "local lumni schools person" if there is nothing for me by then... ?
i am just extremely nervous, because my application was complete a month ago...so how would they incorporate the interview reports to the whole application packet if the reports come in late? i thought they would start reviewing the applications as soon as they were complete!?

thanks for sharing your son's story, it helps... its so hard to hang in there though =) !
where do your live? i live in one of the biggest metropolitan areas, and haven't been contacted, which is making me nervous...i am sure there is a overabundance of alumni here!
oh, and i hope your son's interview goes well!
