Hey guys.
I just got contacted for an interview with my top choice school (Dartmouth). I'm so psyched about this because I've been waiting since like..seventh grade for this day. Anyway, I'll be wearing some nice lacoste sweater, with a collared shirt (maybe a polo?) under it, and some khakis and some nice dress shoes. BUT THAT'S NOT THE POINT...

I just recently got my eyebrow pierced and I loveeeeee it a lot. I really do think it's a representation of who I am, and an interview is all about being yourself and selling yourself, is it not? But on the other hand, it's quite "not professional" so I'm not sure what to do.

I'll look sleek and SEXAY lol but should I remove the piercing? I really like it, but Dartmouth is my first choice. If it were any other school, I'd just keep it.

Forget it.
The piercing was done incorrectly so I just got it removed.
I'm going back in a week or two to get it redone for free after the interview.

I personally wouldn't care at all if one of my interviewees had an eyebrow piercing. Kudos to him/her for being bold enough to wear it to the interview. :) That being said, I'm a fairly young alumnus. Someone from a different generation may not be quite as accustomed to such a look.

I know what you mean about it being a representation of who you are, but this wouldn't be Columbia judging you on the piercing but rather just the one individual who might have graduated 40 years ago for all you know.
