interview for architecture- international students

Hey guys,

I will most likely be applying to cornell next year and will be entering college as a freshman in 2010 (architecture).

I was looking at their website and they said that an interview is required for students planning to pursue a major in arch. However, I'm visiting Cornell this summer so I would have to fly back in the fall to do an interview. And I'm worried about having to visit again because cornell is a super reach for me.

Do they have any exceptions or any other way to get an interview?
I live in Asia btw, so it's pretty far away.

Thanks in advance!

I applied to Cornell as a transfer from Canada to ILR, and there was a mandatory interview.

We did a phone interview that lasted about 20 minutes. The admissions counselor was very nice (and I got in)!

My friend who applied to Cornell AAP from Singapore, had an alumni interview in Singapore.

Cornell AAP is ridic. hard to get into, for the record.

It’s hard for architecture, but I imagine the other programs are easier to get into.
