<p>Can I give an interview for UM to help my chances of being admitted? Obviously I am going to be visiting the campus to get a feel for it, but I was wondering while I am there can I give a interview. </p>

<p>Michigan does not interview. Many top universities do not. I am fairly certain Chicago, Northwestern and Stanford do not interview either.</p>
<p>And even schools that interview make it clear that the interview will generally not be a determining factor.</p>
<p>Northwestern does provide an interview option but it won’t help/harm your application. As others said, Michigan does not accept interviews.</p>
<p>I say interview anyway. Who are they to say you can’t walk into the admissions office with a suit on and wait in the lobby. Then when they ask you who u r waiting for you say Mary Sue Coleman</p>
