Hey guys, i have an interview with a Wharton alumnus, pretty soon, so i was just wondering if you could give me some tips/advice please?

i'm assuming he's a really really intelligent person who'd want to ask me a lot of questions because he's from a top school like Wharton....

i'm kind of nervous about this, especially since this is my first interview, so any help would be greatly appreciated!! :)

What kinds of questions do you think I should be prepared for? If anybody already had Penn interviews, can you briefly tell me what kinds of questions they asked you?

Thanks so much !

i’m sorry to ask again, but can somebody reply back please?

Even though I applied to engineering, my alumni graduated from Wharton. It’s really not something you should be worried about as interviews don’t matter much in the entire process. In reality, it’s more for your own good as it enables you to ask an alumni about the college itself.

Be prepared for things like what activities do you do, why Penn, what do you do in your spare time, what can you contribute to the community, what makes you unique, etc.

ok thanks supermarth64.

THis is a question for everybody but um…sorry if this is kind of personal but would anybody mind telling me how they answered the question of “Why UPenn” during their interviews?

i was just curious. :]

@Sporty: I think there was an essay prompt on the supp. for Why Upenn (or something similar to it). you should stick with what you wrote, and why you personally believe you want to go there.

Just to answer your q, I wrote something about my interest in the school’s specific professors, and how they emphasize a lot about outside studies (since I’m going political science). cant remember details anymore xD gluck!
