Interview- International applicant

I'm an International [Singaporean/Indian] applicant to Princeton. I got an alumni interview email today. It is to take place over the phone.

Do all international applicants get interviews?

I’m from singapore, i just got interviewed 2 hours ago by a princeton alumni, not by the phone though, face to face at starbucks. So yes, we get interviews.

I got one last Sunday in Hong Kong.

i did a video one…

lol. Thanks guys, and good luck!! :)

What I meant was do ALL international applicants get interviews? A couple of friends told me that only those international applicants are interviewed in which the university is interested. So I was a bit over the moon…should I come down to earth?

It may well be true, but it means only a difference of 10% and 11%. It’s better to expect the worst after trying the best.

I got a phone interview on Feb 16th and I’m from Kerala, India. So internationals do get interviews.

Sorry to bring you back to Earth, but I heard that most of the applicants, including internationals, get an interview.

Karottu
LOL. Yeah. I heard the same. My interview went well. I’m sure yours did too. Good luck!! :)

I don’t think it’s true since I was interviewed before my file was complete (one teacher rec + two SAT II results missing).
