Interview/Meeting help?

Hey there! So I was planning on visiting some out of state schools this week (I'm a junior). I had no intention of doing anything special - just touring, attending any information sessions, talking to some students. However, a friend of mine got me a meeting with the Director of Psychology (that's what I want to major in), an Admissions officer, and the Coach of the Speech & Debate team to discuss possible scholarship opportunities, etc. It was all very last minute and now I'm feeling overwhelmed and incredibly under prepared.

I have no idea what I'm supposed to wear, what I'm supposed to bring (resume? who do I give it to?), what I'm supposed to say (do I talk about myself? how much should I share? what's "off limits"?), and what I'm supposed to ask.

If you guys could provide me with any type of advice or anything, that'd be very helpful. I'd hate to go in there and make a fool of myself! Thank you!!

Oh, my meetings are Wednesday (4/27) & Thursday (4/28), just so you know how little time I have to prepare. :)

I’m a guy, I would wear a polo or something professional, nothing fancy at all though. Seem interested in the school and program, and the conversation will take its own course. Come prepared with some questions I would say too. Otherwise be yourself and your fine.

thank you :)

I would wear a nice sweater or a buttoned down with some khakis. Nothing too formal, because it’s not an official admissions interview, but it’s better to overdress than to under dress.

Make sure to get there before the interview, give yourself some good time to get acquainted with the facilities, and understand why this college is right for you. The truth is, if you’re naturally attracted to the institution, you will say all the right things during the interview. Make your ambitions clear and address the issue of what unique aspects of the campus really intrigue you. As always, speak well and assert your voice. You’re in forensics so this should be easy for you ;)
