As you know, international applicants must contact their interviewers first. There were two alumni available for me, but I could reach one of them only. He told me he was going to live in Uruguay during January and February so he couldn?t grant me an interview unless I went to Punta del Este, which I can?t. Now I found out that the other guy was living abroad too and is coming back tomorrow. He lives far away from my city, but I believe we could still arrange a phone interview at least. The problem is that I already submitted my application saying that I?m not having an interview. Do you think I can change this with the Update option that Harvard provides? Do you think it is worthy? Thanks for your help!

yeah!.. do everything u think will be a for ur advantage in the app. process.. 'cause u can then regret about not doing it!..

Hi! I had my interview already, hehe. Thanks for your answer!

so how did it go?

Great but I had the feeling that it never really started; I expected a deeper discussion. We talked about college mostly: majors, the application, Harvard, other colleges I apply to, etc. It was a laid-back talk of 30 minutes and I didn't feel I showed a lot of my personality.

Ah well. Better than nothing.

Yep, I don't complain. At least I could make some questions and tell what I want to do. Most of the interview was in Spanish; I think that's a bit abnormal.

where are u from?

I'm from Parana, Argentina. But don't worry about me; we won't be competing with each other particularly because Harvard doesn't have regional quotas.

So I sound familiar to you? I didn't think I had such a peculiar writing style, hehe.

no no Kyo7 competing with u is not what I was thinking.. I asked u where were u from only because I wanted to know!.. I'm serious!!.. hope u the best boy!..

and what I meant by " u sound familiar to me" was that I have read many of ur posts before but didn't remember where! ... :d I know remember u were the one who told me to read a lot to improve my CR! :D

by the way.. my yale interview was in spanish also!.. ( I still haven't had my harvard interview)
