Hey,
I applied Regular Decision 2 weeks ago. Do you know when I would get an interview? Also, do they call you or do I call them?

Also, does the interview hold much weight on your admission decision?

Also, does the interview hold much weight on your admission decision?

My interviewer e-mailed me to set up an interview.

I don't think the interview has much bearing on the process, or so I've heard from people around this forum. Also, you might not have an alumni near you, so I don't think they can put too much emphasis on it.

I am an alumni interviewer, and just got some assignments in my area. as I am away for the holidays, I don't even expect to notify my assigned students till after New Years. Chill. Enjoy your holidays. the interviews don't have to be posted till March!

Does Brown do on-campus interviews?

Brown does not do on-campus interviews. The interviewers contact you, either by email or phone. In my area, we don't start distributing applicants names to the interviewers until early January. If you don't hear anything by Feb. 1, then I'd call admissions.

The interview has very little weight in your decision. The biggest impact it would make is if your interviewer found something wrong with you, in which case the interview would hurt your application.
