Interview on campus

My dd has an admissions interview on campus. Has anyone interviewed there, and can you pass along any advice on what to wear, what questions you might expect, and any other tips you think might help her?

My son had an on campus interview. He is currently starting his sophomore year. He wore nice jeans and a polo. The interview was very informal, no mention of my son's stats. They talked about basketball and good books they had each read. My son enjoyed it and was even more excited about Duke after his interview.

Thanks Candace. I'm sure that will put my daughter at ease. How does your son like Duke? Is he playing basketball?

Oh that is funny. No, my son is not on the basketball team. The team members are like having stars on campus. Going to the games are a big highlight of my son's experience. And during his interview, the alum told my son that the team is one of the things that really unites all the students. It is a true bonding experience to attend the games and the tenting that happens for weeks before the important games. My son could not be any happier at any other college. I am sad that he is back now, but he was so ready to go back to his friends. Feel free to ask me any more questions. We just got back last night from Duke.
