I just saw a post Rice Admissions made on Instagram saying that you should submit your application by 12/15 for the best chance at getting matched with an interviewer. Just an FYI for those who want an interview.
Do you need the transcripts, recs in or just your part of the application? Thank you
I think to have an interview with an alumni volunteer you need to have your application submitted so I would assume that is whatever is required on the common app in order to submit your app. If it’s not clear from looking at the common app, you could contact admissions and ask.
Though I think doing interviews is great, it’s not necessary. I think requesting one shows interest though, even if you don’t get one. My daughter did not get one a few years ago and was still accepted.
Hm, I did the other type of interview instead with seniors at rice since you could do that before submitting as I hadn’t applied when I interviewed last month. Is one type of interview more relevant than another?
