I live in MN and was contacted 10 days ago via mass email about an interview that was supposed to happen last Saturday. I promptly responded saying that I would like to reschedule as that was deer hunting opener (which I spend with my father). The person responded saying I should expect a notification or new date within a week. I emailed the contact yesterday saying I still hadn't received a new date yet. He hasn't answered. Should I call UPenn or what should I do?

Penn doesn’t directly oversee what’s happening locally. It must be a local logistics problem. I think your only remedy is to keep contacting the person who emailed you.

You should contact the person who sent you the e-mail. That’s the person who will be conducting the interview and arranging the date and time. That first email probably gave included a phone number as well as an e-mail address. It is perfectly acceptable to call - I certainly encourage students to call if they are more comfortable doing that.
