if i'm really bad at speeches/interviews, should i forget about georgetown?

No, you shouldn't forget about it, but it will hurt you if you come across as really impersonable or dull in the interview. Just try and be enthusiastic, and be honest. You can brag a little too, just don't come across as super cocky.

Does anyone have examples of questions they ask? Is it more personal or academic or a mix of the two?

don't let one thing scare you away from applying. i'm horrible at speeches and interviews too but i'm going to apply anyway.

does anyone have advice on what to do and what not to say during an interview?

well my interviewer had a generic paper with her with questions like "why do you want to go to georgetown" and "what other schools did you apply to" etc we also spent a lot of time going over my resume which I highly recommend you bringing

The interview only matters if you either suck or the interviewer finds you are exceptional. Most students are nervous over the interviews, afterall it'll be everyone's first or second time. Most likely, your interview will be pretty average. Don't worry about it.

My Georgetown interview was great! But make sure you're always relaxed. Think of it as a conversation between friends. My interviewer liked me because when I talked I had a passion for the after-school activities I was involved in. Make sure you always ask questions about campus life, academics, dorms, food, alumni relationships, etc. Interviewers will really write a good recommendation for you if seem very interested in the school. I did that for the Georgetown interviewer and she really liked my enthusiasm for the school.

Jw, has anyone gotten any information about this yet. I'm just wondering when I should expect the information about the interview.

Know stuff about the school. If they go, "do you know about ______?" and you can say yes and talk about it a little, then you look more interested in the school which is good because all schools wants to increase yield and the more you know, then seemingly the more likely you are to enroll. The interview doesn't play a very large role, however.
