interview question!!

i haven
t been contacted by an interviewer yet,
i
m applying ea and i got my application confirmation letter
like the second week of october.
should i be worried // try calling the admissions office?
how long should you wait before you call them to tell them you
haven`t gotten an interview yet?

thanks!

Don't worry. Interviews are just starting. They may be sending apps to the local committee in a package.

Whew...

Would you happen to know about how long before Harvard confirms receipt of an application too? I know I just sent it on Friday, but...

Really anxious right now. I know I don't have a chance of getting in, but I can't help but be nervous :(

Thanks!

it took about a week and a half for me to get my confirmation receipt.

thanks, byerly. i guess i was getting a bit over-panicky.
i just realized that the ea deadline is still 2 days away.

what are we supposed to check for that box on the supplement about interviews?

i thought they contacted us about interviews. am I just suppoed to guess the date and who? should I call the admissions office and schedule an interview before I send in my application? should i just leave it blank?

I believe if you're Canadian/American you leave it blank. Otherwise you have to call them to set up an interview...

At least, that's what I gathered from the fellow who answered my call :)

And in some countries with enough interviewers, the international applicants will be contacted first. For example, I've just been invited for an interview on thursday.

^ wait, but for applicants in the us
the interviewer contacts you, right?
on the supplement that asked if i had an interview
i wrote no, but i plan to do so...
so will an interviewer contact me or do i have to tell
the admissions office i want to have an interview?
