Interview question

Hi everybody!
So I'm currently a sophomore in chemical engineering who is applying for internships this summer. I have technical experience in the semiconductor field, and tons of other work experience since I've been working since I was 15. Although I will have a decent gpa after this term(>3.2), I haven't participated in any extracurricular activities beyond personal hobbies, like building guitars and music production.

anyway, my question is, how do I differentiate myself from other internship candidates in an interview? For example, if an interviewer asks "why should we hire you over somebody else?", what type of responses should I give beyond the cliche "I'm a hard worker, I'm loyal, etc. etc."?

thank you for your replies in advance!

I would start by saying: “I have technical experience in the semiconductor field.” Just have a list of like 5 positive and unique things about yourself. This question will also be a lot easier to answer if you apply for a job you are actually interested in doing.
