Interview Question

So I know that interviews are only offered in certain areas and that not everyone can have one. However, I know that they are offered in my area. Additionally, all my friends who are applying (which are quite numerous), have mostly already had all their interviews. My friend's mom even used to do them in the past so they certainly are available in my area. I was wondering, should I send them an email explaining my situation and see if there was a reason I wasn't offered one by this date because I imagine they'll be wrapping them up shortly? Because I feel as it can only be helpful for me, even if it is only a tiny fraction of the whole application. Thanks!

I’m convinced that the interview is largely in place to increase yield and increase alumni involvement with the university.

I am a recent graduate and signed up to do alumni interviews. We have until Feb. 20 to submit the report. Since I am out of town at the moment, I haven’t contacted the applicants I was assigned to interview yet. It’s possible that your interviewer just hasn’t contacted you yet either, although I think it would be fine to contact Stanford to check up on it.
