Try thinking for yourself lol

Seriously? Don’t fabricate answers to these questions just so you can get into the program. You need to be yourself; if you can’t get in by doing that, then you shouldn’t get in at all.

what do you mean by fabricate? preparing ahead is fine-but you should probably do your own research. There is no “best answer”-its literally your justified opinion they are looking for, at least that’s what i think

^That’s what I was saying. Fabricating an answer that will get you into a program and has nothing to do with your own philosophy is quite different from preparing ahead of time.

Hey do you know if they’re going to ask science questions in the interview? Like “where is the colon located” or stuff like that?

^ LOL @ awesomesauceness.

I have done my own research and have opinions formulated. Relax everyone. I have an interview today. I just wanted to prepare. Sorry for offending you if I did.

ilovelost,
It has to be expression of your OWN opinion based on your OWN supporting arguments. Do not answer anything based on somebody else opinion, including top experts, do not pretend to be somebody else. The most important during interview is to be true to yourself. Interview is to check out your personality including your integrity. knowledge can be obtained, personality will not change. The worst thing that could happen on interview is if it is detected that you are not exactly honest. People have different answers to questions that you listed. You have to present your own. So, the best response is your own response.

it seems like the best possible answer to these types of questions is whatever sounds genuine. these are opinion questions, and your opinion will not be judged (or shouldn’t be at least). I think the purpose of these questions is to see how you can think on your feet combined with your awareness of current medical issues. it is much better to say that you don’t have an opinion, or are looking to gain a better understanding of an issue than to rattle off an answer you don’t understand because if they follow up with another question you may be caught off-guard. just do some research and decide how you feel about these issues, better to be rejected/accepted for being yourself than acting like someone else! :)

Oh my sorry ilovelost. seems that my initial comment has started a bash party.
give her a break guys. She probably was jsut wondering how other people would FORMULATE thoughts, and after all, the best way to learn is by example.
