interview questions!

I recently submitted my uchicago app for early action and with it my request for a possible alumni interview.

I know not every perspective freshman gets an alumni interview but after hearing about my friends MIT interview i can't help but be excited.

Just a few quick questions ; if you do get a response for an interview, is it a sign they are considering you for admission? How long did some of you current students have to wait between your request for an interview and when they got back to you? How did the interview go if you got one and do yiu think it helped in admissions?

Just an excited senior thrilled and terrified at the thought.

Any advice would be appriciated.

Muchas gracias :)

It doesn’t help your “chances” in any way.

I waited for like 2ish weeks I think.

Haven’t had mine yet.

Hope that helps!

Interview is not an admission sign. It does help if you do it extremely well and hurt if you do it seriously bad. But not having an interview doesn’t hurt your chances. It certainly takes time to allot you an interviewer.
