What type of questions were you asked at the auditions? Do all of the schools interview you?

I was only [officially] interviewed at NYU and PSU (Penn State). The NYU questions I would say were more academically based "How's school, favorite science, books, etc" and the PSU questions (for me) were "Why PSU? Why Musical Theatre? Tell us briefily about your training & performing experience, etc...". They were both very chill and not threatening. In my case, I thought the NYU lady (I auditioned in Atlanta) was so nice and down-to-earth. Just be honest and be yourself; that is what they want to see!

PS- They also asked if I had any questions for them (about the school, program, etc).

kyle, did you have questions? If so, how were the folks from those schools about answewring the ones you had?

I don't think I had any questions at PSU.
For NYU, I told the lady that I also have an interest in education (teaching), and asked if there is/would be a possibility to take a few education classes. She said "yes" and described a few options. She was very nice.
