Interview Questions

<p>It's something that's completely relevant to the interview. One of the purposes of an interview is to see if the candidate is an academic fit with the school. You can't know that without knowing the person's scores. Also, the interviewer needs to write a report about the person, and information about the scores helps to corroborate the interviewer's impression of the person. Suppose a person has a 3.5 and a 1600. An interviewer's impression that the person is very intelligent but a slacker might corroborate with the adcoms' impression and thus justify a rejection.</p>

<p>I could use your argument to say that an interview isn't needed at all, since a person's extracurriculars and essays should be enough to describe and evaluate a person (as they are when a person is unable to have an interview and still gets accepted).</p>
