I am a former lurker/freshly minted member.

As a Princeton ED applicant, I wanted to go through the novelty of the entire process (kissing the application before sending it off, preparing for a pleasant interview, waiting the agonizing month and a half, etc.). But I've gotten a bit antsy! I see people here already getting interview calls, and people at my school who have already been interviewed weeks ago, or at least have gotten called.

I live in a rather large city, so I'm sure the alumni network should be buzzing with members. With that in mind (although I have read in the forum that the interview is merely a formality, I still want one!), who should I contact to request an interview? The UGA Office? The alumni network? My regional director (the one who presented the Information Session)? I am a bit confused on how to approach this.

Now, before someone jumps on me to "search old threads before starting another new one", I just want to say that I have. I've browsed through pages by hand and searched keywords. But with such common keywords, it becomes rather hard to find an answer to what I'm looking for. But I digress...

Oh yes, I gathered that much. The thing is, I sent my application in the middle of October and got my confirmation a week later that the entire application was complete. Shouldn't they have contacted me by now?

Also depends on the alumni member you are assigned to.
Some would contact very promptly & set up an intv appt with you quickly,
some people take longer.
Bec they are all working adults (usually), some can be on business trips & may not contact students as quickly ...

Well, I got my inteview call over mail, so it can depend. I got the impression that while interviews are nice, they're not as "intense" as I'd expected them to be (I had mine today).

Yeh, I ran into the same thing. I sent my app in Sept. 23rd and I haven't been contacted yet. I recently went out myself and got ahold of the Alumni Association in town and am currently attempting to set-up an interview. I figured I waited enough and now had to take matters into my own hands.
