Is an interview required to apply? collegeboard.com says it is an "important factor" but I have also heard that it is required...

It isn't required if you're outside Southern California. I think if you live in the area they 'strongly encourage' you to make it to the campus for a visit. I've heard it's an important factor; although a good deal of the people I know here didn't interview.

I did not interview and was accepted (and attending). I live in Northern California.

It is not required but with such a low acceptance rate it can only help to have one. Best of luck!

Second arizonamom. You should take every opportunity you have to make a personal impression on a representative of the Admissions Office. It also demonstrates your level of interest in Pomona.

Good luck!
