<p>I had my interview like an hour ago and it was uber fun and easy. Don’t sweat it.</p>

<p>I don’t know if it’s the same at Chicago, but I think MIT’s stats are pretty telling.</p>

<p>That could be from a lot of factors, but that’s a very considerable difference. The way I see it, a bad interview won’t hurt you but a good interview can only help you.</p>
<p>Got in without an interview or campus visit. It was a last minute decision to apply for EA. My opinion is that an interview will be helpful if you can schedule one.</p>
<p>You have 4 essays to convey how unique you are to the university.</p>
<p>That said, I think an interview isn’t as important as say, the Ivies.</p>
<p>I didn’t do the interview (I think one was available, but didn’t check), but I got in EA anyway.</p>
<p>Of course, if you can get one without any considerable trouble, it’s probably a better idea to do it. Usually, people (at least the ones I know) tend to make a better impression in person than on paper.</p>
