So how exactly do they schedule area alumni interviews? Also, is there a greater chance of getting an interview if you submit your app earlier than if you submit it, say, on the last day? I read somewhere that some colleges try to give interviews to earlier applicants but couldn't guarantee them to later ones (Duke I think), so I was wondering how that worked at Penn. THanks!

the penn website said that if u submitted ur app b4 oct 13th or something, u have a greater chance of getting an interview.

this was true for me. i submitted it oct 13th b4 midnight. and had my interview…i would say a week ago. the lady called me and scheduled a date and time. btw, my interview lady said that penn starts “reviewing” nov 22…so…i am not sure if that means like all interviews done by nov 22 and then they start picking students or not.

good luck.

Yeah, I think Penn suggested student get their apps in by Oct. 15 to maximize chances for an interview. I got mine in on November 1st (late at night ha)… but I got an interview. They might have been reviewing on Nov. 22, but there is no way all of the interviews were finished. Several people on this CC interviewed after that date and I just had my interview today.

okay, so it’s not a guarantee if I submitted my app yesterday then?
