I have an interview set up with an alumni from CMU. this is my first interview, and I most likely will have more. I was wondering how i should approach this interview, as I really really really want to get into CMU, and he is going to ask me about my interests, why am i interested in carnegie mellon and more. He has an evaluation form which he will send to carnegie mellon. I was wondering wut I should say and some important things i could mention. Lastly, i want to create an impression that is good and shows that I really want to go to carnegie mellon so how shud i do this

Bump Bump Bump :s

Make a list of your main interests and be prepared to talk about them.
Be prepared to explain what it is that you like about CMU. Be honest about your feelings.
Also, be prepared to say why you think you will be a good fit for CMU, and what your likely contribution to the campus life will be.
Finally, have some questions to ask about CMU, classes, dorm life etc.

Definitely have questions prepared.
but don't ask things you could really easily find in their catalogue or website. they want to see you have enough interest in the school to have not so obvious questions.

Use the CC search function to find the many useful posts about interviews.

thanks guyz once again

If you get stumped at some point you can always ask the interviewer what he/she did at CMU and personally liked/disliked there.
