Interview this late?

I got called today (02/25) for an interview tommorow. End of February, only a month before we get decisions -- isn't this cutting it a little close?

I did mine Monday. Some of the alumni are probably more disorganized than others.

Yeah, I just got contacted for one a couple of hours ago, and it's tomorrow. But hey, I know I'd be disorganized like that too--just so long as I get an interview, I don't mind when.

I got contacted an hour ago and he told me to call him back asap. we're doing i by phone looool

lol good luck!
No, it's not too late at all

Hey!!!!!1
HOw important is the interview anyway?
I had heard that it has no bearing on the admission decision............is it true?
In any case, I haven't received a call yet...........though my classmate had a couple of weeks ago

It doesn't matter much. Unless you insult your interviewer, then it'll probably hurt you. I think they're mostly used for to keep alumni involved and maybe for deciding on very borderline people.

I have two in the next week, so......... shrug

At least they called, right? I mean, some people don't even get interviews.

My son interviewed Wed. night. Took about three weeks to get the interviewer to call back, and then the interviewer was an hour late to the meeting! But she was very pleasent and they had a nice chat.

I doubt that the interview has significant influence on their final decision. Just had my interview last Friday, but I received the "your app file is now complete" note from Princeton some 3 weeks ago.

Something is very wrong with the chronology of events here...

Since the interview is not required, your application is technically complete (since you can't be denied admission due to an incomplete application). They will just add the interview report to your file.
