Are they only given basic personal info of mine or they have all the essays and recs I have submitted?

What do I need to bring for an interview? a resume? essays? ec list? or apps?

Is it necessary to wear suits? or just jeans with a tie…?

Thx a lot ppl…my interview is coming soon…need help!!!

I would just wear something nice. The guy that interviewed me said that he had given my application a "look over" and he gave me his thoughts on my chances at getting in. Just ask questions, show interest and be personable. I brought a resume but he just sort of used it for talking points, and we eventually threw it out. I'm sure you'll be fine, just dont come across as overbearing.

Here's a familiar question from ED time! Anyway, interviewers have only the basic info. You don't need to bring anything to the interview, although some people brought a resume(I didn't). Clothing depends on where. Alumni interview at Starbucks or the person's house would be more casual, like khakis and a decent shirt or sweater for guys. If it's at someones office you could wear a jacket and/or tie. Jeans, Tshirts, sneakers are no-nos. Hope that helps. Good luck.

PS Do a search on the Penn forum for threads on the "interview" - lots of helpful stuff.
