So what did you answer when you were asked in your interview why Princeton?

I basically stated my concentration of interest, how I came to be involved in this field of study, and reflected on how it fulfills my career aspirations. I also mentioned Princeton’s undergraduate focus, small size, and the world-class faculty who are able to balance excellence in their fields with fantastic classroom instruction.

If you’re looking for something more specific to Princeton’s vibe that you can talk about with your interviewer, I recommend that you check out The Princeton University Press Club’s blog, [The Ink](http://www.universitypressclub.com). The blog has daily postings about campus goings-on, Princeton in the news, and all of the little idiosyncrasies that make Princeton such a great place. As an undergraduate, I use the site a lot, and I know that if I’d been aware of it during my application process, it really would have been a really helpful resource. The site will also give you a better sense of the Princeton lingo, which can only help in an interview (you gotta love impressing alums by appearing “in the know!”).

I wasn’t even asked the Why Princeton question Nor did any of my other interviewers ask me why I wanted to attend that specific college. Bring a resume if you really don’t feel like answering that question: you get to talk more about yourself :)
