Interview

I just sent in Part 1 last week and so today I got the confirmation e-mail and its like "we'll send you the name of your interviewer in the next couple weeks or so" but I mean that'll mean that I have my interview not until like the middle of November and I'm applying EA.

Did anybody else have their interview like 2 weeks after applications were due in? Is it OK?

I sent my part I in in like mid-September, and still havent gotten any information about my interview. I called up the admissions office and sent an email to the guy in charge of interviews in my area, but have still not heard anything. I'm also a little worried that I might not get one in time. Any suggestions here?

I'm going to respond to the email and just make sure that they can occur after Nov. 1, because it's kind of impossible for it to be done by then at this point.

Straight from the website:
All first-year applicants are required to have an interview unless it is not possible to assign the interview based on geographic area. Interviews are available in all 50 states as well as many countries. The interview need not be completed prior to the application deadline, but it should be done as soon as possible after the assignment has been received. For transfer students, the interview is optional.

whew.

i sent in my part I at teh end of august and i just got the interview contact. i'm applying regular.
