How many of you guys applying ea have had an interview? Should i be worried that i haven't gotten one?

If you live in Chicago, get one immediately.

Otherwise, don't sweat it. The interviewer is supposed to call you. They understand not everyone has gotten one.

You only get an interview if you have only checked the box requesting an interview. I think you shouldn't worry too much.

Is an interview an important part of the application??
Will it affect my chances to get in if I don't get one??

I live in Alaska, so.....

no...it will not

IMO, if you do have an interview, Chicago will use it for evaluation more than other schools do. But if you unable to have one, it will neither hurt nor help your chances.

My S was admitted with no interview.

too late for interviews anyway, either on campus or by alums. Don't sweat what you can't control.

Good luck.

I applied EA as well and have not gotten an interview. I am in Kentucky, but i guess i shouldn't worry, even though it's a tinge irritating. They told me to contact them if i hadn't been contacted by an alumni by December 1st, so that leaves two days.

yea.. me too.. i din get an interview either... although I checked for one.. contemplating if i shld get back to them if im not contacted by 1 Dec.. cos im working now.. and my boss won't like it very much if i keep taking leave (i took some leave to go for my local scholarship interviews)

Elemental_rights, aren't you from a foreign country? If you are, alumni interviews are offered for only a handful of countries.

yes i am an intel.. and i know that it is offered in my country... (listed under the examples of countries with alumni)
