<p>one parent is OK. Parent interview is not really an interview. They just want to chat with you and give you a chance to ask questions.</p>
<p>Agreed. In our case, one parent had to stay behind, to take care of a younger sibling. I think the schools understand these things. Plus, there are many single parent families.</p>
